Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the OxBridge Assessments platform operated by Lingovera Labs (Pakistan) ("OxBridge", "we", "us"). By accessing the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Account types
- Candidate — an individual taking an assessment, either self-service via the public library or by recruiter invitation.
- Recruiter — an authorised representative of a company that invites candidates, creates custom tests, and reviews results.
- Administrator — OxBridge staff with platform-level privileges.
2. Recruiter authorisation
By creating a recruiter account, you represent that you have written authorisation from the company you nominate to operate this account on its behalf. You must upload a signed authorisation letter or board resolution at signup. We may suspend any account where authorisation cannot be verified.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Impersonate another person when taking an assessment
- Use external assistance, AI tools, or unauthorised resources during an assessment
- Attempt to disable, circumvent, or interfere with proctoring, integrity, or rate-limiting systems
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data beyond what your role permits
4. Integrity violations
If we determine, after human review, that a candidate has committed an integrity violation, the candidate will be immediately disqualified from the assessment and their national identity document will be banned from this platform for 6 months. All recruiters who received that candidate's profile will be notified.
5. Fees and billing
Recruiter accounts are free to register. Recruiters pay a per-test fee for every custom test created, a per-candidate fee for every candidate who takes a test, and optional per-candidate Oxbridge certification fees and one-time custom-test review fees. Amounts are set by OxBridge and may be revised on 30 days' notice. Self-service candidates pay per attempt; the fee is shown before payment.
All fees are non-refundable once the underlying service has been delivered.
6. Intellectual property
Oxbridge library tests, the platform code, and all branding are owned by Lingovera Labs. Recruiter-built custom tests are owned by the recruiter; by submitting them for Oxbridge review and approval, you grant OxBridge a non-exclusive licence to display the test for review.
7. Certificates
Oxbridge certificates are issued for passing results on Oxbridge library tests (always) and on recruiter custom tests that have been Oxbridge-approved through the paid review process. Certificates are verifiable at /verify/[reference-number]. Self-paying candidates receive certification as part of their assessment fee. Recruiter-invited candidates can be certified if the recruiter purchases the per-candidate certification.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time; for candidates this triggers data deletion per our Privacy Policy.
9. Warranties and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, OxBridge disclaims all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. Our aggregate liability to any single user in any 12-month period is capped at the greater of (a) fees paid by that user in that period or (b) USD 100.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, except that consumer users may bring claims in their local jurisdiction where required by law. Either party may seek interim relief in any jurisdiction.
11. Changes
We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version on this page. Material changes are notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
